Krutidev Keyboard Layout
The complete interactive reference for every key in the Krutidev 010 Hindi typing layout — sourced directly from the official Krutidev encoder used for CPCT, SSC, RRB & state LDC exams.
Visual typing, not phonetic
Krutidev is a font — characters are typed in left-to-right visual order, not by sound. The short-i matra (ि) is typed before its consonant even though it appears after.
Many keys are sequences
Characters like ख (kha), घ (gha), and ो (o matra) are typed as 2-key sequences. The scroll-down table lists all of them.
Used in major exams
Krutidev 010 is the required font for CPCT, RSMSSB, and many state-level LDC/Steno exams. Know this layout cold before your test.

Common Multi-Key Sequences
Some Hindi characters require typing 2–3 keys in sequence. The converter combines them automatically.
Special rule — short i matra (ि): In Krutidev you type f (i matra) BEFORE the consonant key, even though it appears after the consonant when rendered. For example “कि” is typed as f + d.
